Our History
Crago’s was founded in 2009 by husband and wife, Ritchie & Lydia Crago. After leaving school, Ritchie’s lifelong love for cars led him onto completing a BMW apprenticeship within a main dealer & subsequently gaining many years exclusive BMW & MINI experience with numerous BMW training qualifications.
In 2009, it became clear to Ritchie & others around him, that he had the level of expertise, quality, workmanship & experience required, to start a business providing these valuable skills at an affordable cost to BMW & MINI owners. On completion of her PhD in Biochemical Engineering, Lydia was able to support Ritchie with the business start-up. The team grew quickly with apprentices and our senior Technician, Benjamin joined, equipped with BMW main dealer experience, high working standards and excellent product knowledge.
In June 2014, the expanding team had outgrown its original workshop and relocated into a larger workshop space. After fully equipping the new modern space, Crago’s introduced Pamela, Adam and over the coming years, Daniel, Jason, James and Jay to the team. Bringing with them a whole host of new skills including Pamela’s outstanding customer service, Adams passion for science & technology, Jason's incredible eye for detail alongside his extensive BMW experience as a BMW technician and James borad range of repair expeirnce. We look forward to Daniel & new apprentice Jay completing their apprenticeships with flying colours (preferably blue, purple & red) and exclusive BMW & MINI experience.
